instalasi theme di debian

sebelumnya.. saya mau bilang, ini bukan mau pamer desktop.. sumpah..!!
di kaskus banyak yang jauhh lebih keren.. :( saya cuma buat catatan ajah ... biar gak lupa.
first download themenya DISINI
sambil nunggu download, install dulu GTK+ library

$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev

yang di downloadnya ,
1. Equinox engine and GTK theme
2. Equinox Evolution themes
3. Faenza Icons

setelah ketiganya di download, mari kita prosers,
pertama, Engine installation
esktrak Equinox engine and GTK theme lalu masuk ke folder hasil esktrak dan compile,

$ cd equinox-1.50
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-animation
# make
# make install

ikuti prosesnya, bila di akhir instlasi, terlihat keterangan sbb,

Libraries have been installed in:
/usr/local/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines

itu artinya proses compile berjalan dengan benar ,, ( jah.. sotoy gak gw.. :D )

kedua, Themes installation
esktrak, 140449-equinox-themes-1.50.tat.gz ke directory /.themes

$ sudo tar -zxvf 140449-equinox-themes-1.50.tat.gz -C /home/ariyasa/.themes

ekstrak semua aja :D

ketiga,icons themes
unzip, faenza_icons_by_tiheum-d2v6x24.zip

$ unzip faenza_icons_by_tiheum-d2v6x24.zip

stelah itu esktrak file Faenza.tar.gz ke directory /usr/share/icons

$ sudo tar -zxvf Faenza.tar.gz -C /usr/share/icons

lanjutkan dengan file2 tar.gz lainya.. ( kalau mau )

selesai.. silahkan ubah theme ke System => Preferences => Appeareance => equinox evolution dawn.



note : untuk pengunaan google-chrome dan chromium drag CRX file (include di folder 140449-equinox-themes-1.50. )
ke address bar.. jgn lupa enable the display Metacity borders
tambahan dari gnome-look.org

To fix the issue with the text of selected menu items in Firefox and Thunderbird, copy the userChrome.css in both ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome/ and ~/.thunderbird/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome/
